"Absence has a name: Violence."

Absence Has a Name: Violence” is an awareness campaign developed by the FPF Foundation in partnership with APAV to mark the National Day of Mourning for Victims of Domestic Violence. Launched during the Portugal Women’s National Team match against Slovakia, the initiative used the visibility of football to raise awareness, honour the 56 women killed by domestic violence in Portugal since the last Women’s World Cup, and promote support resources for victims and their families.
