OFFICIAL PRESENTATION
D+POSITIVE
It's a personal dream coming true.
Meet the AI Emotional Companion designed with empathy for Diabetes Type 1 patients.
DIABETES CAN BE +POSITIVE
From my experience, life is increasingly fast-paced, and managing a condition like Type 1 Diabetes, which demands constant attention and monitoring 24/7, can be overwhelming. Balancing the emotional, physical, and logistical aspects of diabetes while juggling everyday life presents unique challenges.
The goal of D+Positive is to transform these challenges into opportunities for growth and better management. By integrating features that address both the mental and physical burdens of T1D, we aim to provide real, practical support for those living with diabetes. These ideas serve as the foundation for potential features that will make managing T1D not just easier, but more positive.

MY STORY
Before I was diagnosed with T1D, I was a swimming junior athlete, with only one ambition: becoming a professional swimmer. That dream went away when I was diagnosed, on April 2009 with only 11 years old.
Every doctor told me how to admistrate insuline, but nobody prepared me for the emotional burnout it is to live with a desease that has to me monitored 24/7. All the tips I received seemed to turn life into a restriction, instead of teaching me how to empower myself with my condition.
I wanted to make a difference. After years of therapy and taking care of myself, 16 years later I am building an app to help not only myself, but every person who lives with T1D.
The emotions are there and need to be taken care as part of the process, T1D distress is real, but it can be manageable.
Because living with T1D, can truly be more positive.
